I began my journey to ordination with a request from a long time friend. She and her boyfriend, turned fiancee, had just gotten engaged at Devil's Lake in Wisconsin (a very popular state park, for those unfamiliar). They were driving home and having a discussion about the wedding and both came to the suggestion to ask me to marry them. I was absolutely honored to do so. I was asked and then obtained my ordination that very same day. Initially, I had no intentions of going forward with ministry, but the next year, I had the pleasure of officiating the wedding for my very best friend and her fiancee as they eloped in CO. And it continued from there. I've been marrying people every year since!

Swandog Ceremony
My first ever wedding; Shawna & Chris got engaged at Devil's Lake state park in Wisconsin. On the drive home they were excitedly discussing their next step and unanimously decided to ask me to help them tie the knot. I was absolutely honored to be chosen for such a momentous ocassion.
Burns Vow Renewal
This was wedding #6 for the esteemed Mr & Mrs Burns. They make a habit to renew their vows "early, and often". As a long-time friend of the couple, they tapped Jessica not only as an officiant but also as an artist to give them a memorable experience for their wedding.
Waddell Wedding
Another in a long line of personal friendships, this couple started their engagement in the kitchen of Jessica's home during a friends-mas gathering. It was an absolute honor to help them make things official in front of 150 of their closest friends and family members.
